Utilization of electricity flexibility in energy facilities for optimizing energy consumption
The project focuses on industrial energetics, particularly on analyzing possibilities for reducing energy costs through active consumption. In the coming years, significant changes are expected in network and energy billing, which will be more adapted to green transition and the implementation of renewable sources. Energy consumers will need to adapt their consumption according to network and energy availability. Without such adaptation and flexibility, energy will become a much higher cost than with active involvement in the energy system. The consortium partners will develop an electric energy management system tailored to a multi-tariff electricity billing system (EMS – Energy Management Systems). The main objective of the project is to develop a system that, through program logic, will help identify the most optimal electricity consumption based on past and current usage and manage this consumption at the consumer’s end using controllers.
